PRE-PLAN FOR 2021-2022 ACADEMIC YEAR



  • Membership will be meeting with Dr. Sanchez and ask for his support.
  • On-going commitment of our membership to support student success via financial 8. resources (scholarships).
  • Develop a retreat to focus on the following key areas: review bylaws, access engagement opportunities via committee involvement, and review membership structure.
  • A strategic plan for the next five years will be developed by all who wish to participate via the retreat.
  • Membership drive will follow the retreat and members will be invited to join and an election will be held to elect the coalition’s executive board in September.
  • There will be a meet and greet with Dr. Sanchez (TBA) and on-going programming for members of the community to be involved.

The Coalition hosts a roast lead by Comedian Paul Rodriguez for SWC Emeritus William Virchis.

The Coalition successfully led the request to name One-Stop Student Services Center in honor of César E. Chávez.
